We have classes available for all ages between 2.5yrs thru to 21 + yrs.

How do I know which dance style is best for my child?
If you are not sure what dance style is best for you we suggest giving them a try and find out what you like.
We allow obligation free trials in all of our classes allowing you to try before committing to classes.
Are the instructors certified and experienced?
Child protection is a top priority. All teachers and staff have been approved by Child Protection Authorities and hold current Working With Children Certificates. Our fully qualified teachers are passionate and nurturing, dedicated to helping your child succeed and enjoy their dance journey.
In our READY SET DANCE program, every teacher holds a Working With Children Check and follows a curriculum endorsed by early learning experts. Additionally, READY SET DANCE teachers are required to gain accreditation from the program’s head office before delivering classes, ensuring the highest standards of education and care.
How do I sign my child up for a free trial class?
Simply click on one of the "Free Trial" buttons on this website, enter your details, pick a class and that is all that is required.
We will be in touch shortly after to give you some more information bout the class.

What should my child wear to their first dance class?
We have uniform items that we are sure that you will love, but for your first class please come in comfortable clothes and shoes.
Once you are happy to proceed, uniforms are available to be purchased at the studio.
Can I watch my child’s class?
To ensure an optimal learning environment, parents are not permitted to watch regular classes unless invited by the teacher. However, the final week of each term is open for parents to observe and celebrate their child’s progress.
We also have a large CCTV monitor in the waiting room so you are able to keep an eye on progress in each class.
Younger students, especially in our READY SET DANCE program, focus better without distractions. However for children who feel timid at first, parents are welcome to watch the initial class to help them adjust
What happens if we miss a class?
If you need to miss a class for any reason (sickness, holidays, etc) please let us know. Make up classes are available in some cases.
READY SET DANCE students may swap days if need be. We do recommend that you avoid alternating days too much as preschoolers need the comfort of knowing that the same teacher and their friends will be there when they go to dancing.
Will my child get the opportunity to perform?
Yes, all students perform at our end of year concert in December.
Our Team stream students also are given the opportunity to compete in Eisteddfods & perform in many local community events throughout the year.
We also have private lesson slots available for students to work on solo items that are able to be performed at eisteddfods throughout the year.
Do you operate out of your own studio space?
Yes, HDF operates out of our own professional studios in Dural. We have three fully equipped air-conditioned studios with professional sound systems in all rooms, sprung floors, full size mirrors and barres, as well as a comfortable waiting room.
Having our own studio space allows us to offer a proper dance environment that is just not possible when dancing in community halls.
What happens after the free trial class?
Just let us know if you would like to continue with classes.
You can complete the enrolment process online via our Parent Portal which we will arrange and then you are all good to go.
