The Hills Dance Factory offers our younger students a fabulous preschooler program called READY SET DANCE. We are an official location for this program which is run in over 400 dance studios worldwide.

Ready Set Dance is an award-winning preschool dance program for children aged 2-5. Endorsed by Early Learning Experts, the combo class includes JAZZ, TAP, HIP HOP, SINGING, MUSIC and a whole lot of fun!

Ready Set Dance's class structure designed to captivate both boys and girls fostering an inclusive environment where every preschooler can explore and express their love for dance. Your preschooler will be immersed in the magic of Ready Set Dance's current and original music and multilevel curriculum, promoting the three c's, Confidence, Coordination and Creativity.

 The combination of Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap and music allows children to experience a diverse range of dance styles during the class in a nurturing and supportive environment. By trying different genres in this combo class, preschoolers get to experience and explore the wide and magical world of dance, discovering all it has to offer.

 Our trained and nurturing Ready Set Dance instructors use inspiring techniques that uplift and empower each child, creating a positive, lasting impact that goes far beyond the dance floor.

Our Ready Set Dance classes for preschoolers offer so much more than just learning dance steps. From ballet, tap, hip hop and jazz to creative movement, these classes introduce children to the magical world of the performing arts, sparking a lifelong love for creativity and expression. These steps are taken in order to ensure our dance teachers provide the highest quality instruction in a safe and supportive dance school environment.

How do I sign my child up for a free trial class?

Simply click on one of the "Free Trial Class" links on this page. You will be prompted to add your name and choose a day to come in. You are not locked in or committed in any way, if you decide the class is not for you there are no charges.

Can I watch my child’s class?

To ensure an optimal learning environment, parents are not permitted to watch regular classes unless invited by the teacher. However, the final week of each term is open for parents to observe and celebrate their child’s progress.

We also have a large CCTV monitor in the waiting room so you are able to keep an eye on progress in each class.

Younger students, especially in our READY SET DANCE program, focus better without distractions. However for children who feel timid at first, parents are welcome to watch the initial class to help them adjust.

What happens if we miss a class?

If you need to miss a class for any reason (sickness, holidays, etc) please let us know. Make up classes are available in some cases.

READY SET DANCE students may swap days if need be. We do recommend that you avoid alternating days too much as  preschoolers need the comfort of knowing that the same teacher and their friends will be there when they go to dancing.

Will my child get the opportunity to perform?

Yes, all students perform at our end of year concert in December.

We do also have opportunities to perform in many local community events throughout the year.

What should my child wear to their first dance class?

We have uniform items that we are sure that you will love, but for your first class please come in comfortable clothes and shoes.

Once you are happy to proceed, uniforms are available to be purchased at the studio.

Our uniforms are also shown in the photos on this website.
