RAD Ballet Exams & Seminars
RAD Ballet Exams are optional, but they provide valuable goals for students. Children who wish to participate must attend a minimum of two ballet classes per week and be at least five years old. Exams are internationally recognised and give dancers a sense of achievement.
To support students, we host RAD Exam Preparation Seminars each Easter holiday, led by experienced RAD examiners. These sessions help dancers feel confident and ready.
Advancing to Pointe Work
For students in Intermediate Foundation and above, pointe work is introduced as part of the syllabus. Because pointe requires strength and readiness, our teachers carefully assess each dancer before progression. Students not pursuing pointe can still progress through Grades 6–8 and sit exams if they choose.
